Athelas Flowers & Herbs

This fall I had the opportunity to design a website for a start-up flower subscription company. The owner wanted the website to have a "dappled sunlight" feel so I took the pictures with warm lighting and used ample green and wood in the background designs. The company name was inspired by Tolkien's "Athelas" plant (also called "kingsfoil" for any LOTR fans out there!) so I included some photos of the books and used an "old paper" look for some of the website sections. This was a fun project for an amazing business that focuses on cultivating beauty and child-like wonder through flowers!
